SkateMapPoland respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you when using SkateMapPoland.
1. Information we collect
When you create or use a SkateMapPoland account, we may collect your name or display name, email address, profile picture, profile description, Instagram username if you choose to provide it, authentication information supplied by login providers, and information about skateparks you mark as visited or favourite.
When you sign in using Google or Facebook, we only request information needed to create and identify your SkateMapPoland account. SkateMapPoland does not receive or store your Google or Facebook password.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to create and manage your account, provide secure sign-in, display and manage your profile, save visited and favourite skateparks, synchronize account information, maintain and improve the service, and protect the service against abuse or unauthorized access. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Authentication
SkateMapPoland may allow sign-in through third-party authentication providers, including Google and Facebook. When you use these services, certain account information may be provided to SkateMapPoland according to the permissions shown during login. Authentication and account infrastructure may be provided using Supabase.
4. Data storage
Account information and user data may be stored using Supabase infrastructure and associated database and storage services. We take reasonable measures to restrict access to user data and to ensure authenticated users can access data associated with their own accounts.
5. Cookies and local storage
SkateMapPoland may use cookies, browser local storage, or similar technologies where necessary to maintain login sessions, remember preferences, and provide essential website functionality.
6. Sharing of information
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information may be processed by service providers necessary to operate SkateMapPoland, including hosting, authentication, database, and infrastructure providers. We may also disclose information where required by applicable law.
7. Data retention
We retain account information for as long as necessary to provide SkateMapPoland services or until you request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to legal obligations that may require longer retention.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and obtain information about how your personal data is processed.
9. Account and data deletion
You may request deletion of your SkateMapPoland account and associated personal data by contacting us at contact@skatemappoland.pl. After a valid request, we will delete or anonymize relevant personal data unless retention is required by law.
10. Third-party services
SkateMapPoland may use Supabase for authentication, database and storage infrastructure; Google for Google authentication; Meta/Facebook for Facebook authentication; and Netlify for website hosting and deployment. These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies.
11. Children's privacy
SkateMapPoland does not knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent or another legal basis would be required under applicable law. If we learn that information was collected contrary to applicable requirements, we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when SkateMapPoland features, legal requirements, or service providers change. The latest version will remain available on this page.
